3 Cheers Media needs it’s downtime and this December we got a treat by going fishing for the day. A group of us hired a private boat with fishing gear supplied to then sail out to the North Sea. The perfect day was set as the sea was calm and the sun shone. This was a brilliant day captured using our DJI Mavic Pro Drone. If you are looking for an Essex Drone Videography specialist, look no further and get in touch.
Kirsty & William – The Old Parish Rooms Wedding Video
Celebrating this Christmas time winter wedding at the beautiful Old Parish Rooms in Rayleigh, Essex. With a bright sunny start and an excited groom this wedding got underway with a swing. Guests arrived to smiles and laughter provided by the grooms party and a beautifully decorated parish. A quaint wedding was held in The Old Parish Rooms chapel before a blessing at the Holy Trinity Church. Then after photos and drinks, celebrations went into the night for a very happy couple. This wedding was one to warm the heart with thoughtful words throughout coming in form of song and speeches. I had an amazing time getting to know Kirsty and William and wish them all the very best for the future ahead. A huge thanks goes out to Magda at Love That Smile Photography for recommending me! Now it’s time to watch The Old Parish Rooms Wedding Video, a first time for us filming at such a wonderful wedding venue;
A First at The Old Parish Rooms
This is our first Old Parish Rooms Wedding Video and we hope it’s not the last. A huge thanks goes out to Stefan and his staff for making me feel so welcome, which helped the day run smoothly. The Parish was decorated so beautifully to suit the winters theme. The photos below reflect the emotion and happiness of the day but the video I’m sure will do that even more.

Ben & Dilara – Smeetham Hall Barn Cinematic Trailer
A crisp and sunny autumn day at the beautiful Smeetham Hall Barn in Bulmer, Sudbury. Celebrating the whimsical wedding of Ben and Dilara as they marry on the 19th of November 2017. Arriving at the venue nice and early to capture the stunning grounds and all the spectacular details put into this wedding. As a wedding videographer it was perfect, low sunlight for sparkles of light and a unique style from Ben and Dilara that set their day apart. Family and friends arrived to witness a charming wedding and partied long into the night. Take a look now at the Smeetham Hall Barn Wedding Video to get a feel for this fantastic day…
It’s all in the details – Ben & Dilara
One thing that makes weddings special is when they stand out due to little touches and details. This wedding was no exception, from the hand made table decorations as mentioned in Ben’s speech, the beautiful dress that Dilara wore and to groomsmen’s dapper old style suits. This with a bit of edge from the tattoos rocked and the funky music chosen was a winner in my books for ultra cool weddings. Check out some photos from the day;
Imogen & Matt – Leez Priory Cinematic Wedding Video
Late October 2017, the date was set and all was in place for a beautiful wedding day planned at the Leez Priory. Something that can’t be organised is the weather, but on this day the sun shone for Immy and Mat. I arrived early to a crisp morning start to film the stunning grounds of the Leez Priory, an Essex venue steeped in history and ready for family and friends to fill the walls with laughter and happy memories. Imogen was busy getting ready with her bridesmaids as the guys turned up for a morning drink to settle the nerves. As the guests arrived the sun really came out giving the wedding trailer the look of a summers day. Celebrations and spirits were high as the day continued with choir girls singing at the ceremony and speeches to make you laugh and cry. An amazing day was had by one and all! From 3 Cheers Media, we wish all the very best for Imogen and Mat as they start a happy future as husband and wife. Click this link for more information on Essex Wedding Videography packages
Sunshine of an Autumn day at Leez Priory
You can never bank on sunshine and for videographers and photographers sometimes bright sunlight can offer a challenge. As you can see from this Leez Priory Cinematic Wedding Video we used the bright Autumn sunlight to our advantage. Getting some great lens flare and warm glows to give the final video a real unique look. The low light this time of year also offers some stunning arial video as seen from the stills below. The Leez Priory tower and grounds look stunning in the golden low light;
Our latest cinematic wedding trailer comes from the stunning Essex wedding venue Leez Priory. Celebrating the marriage of Helen and Mick on October the 20th 2017. A light drizzle of rain in the morning just made the autumn colours even more vibrant. Helen and the girls were cool and calm whilst preparing for the big day. Mick and the boys were busy cracking jokes whilst greeting the guests. The day was a superb blend of all the magic wedding moments, decorated in styles with no details missed. You’ll have to grab a copy of the full length film to watch the incredible speeches, one of which from the best man featured a drum kit to keep tally of the hit jokes. This day was certainly one to remember and I wish Helen and Mick all the very best for the future ahead. Loved working for you guys and so happy to have shared the memory.
Autumn Colours for a Cinematic Treat
For a videographer filming in different seasons can offer challenges but the rewards are greater. Filming this Leez Priory Wedding Video was a real treat as I walked the grounds in the morning I founds beautiful autumn colours, yellows, greens, golden and even red roses still in bloom. Helen and Mick were such great sports as we took them for a romantic walk around the grounds, the setting was a perfect back drop to make for a stunning Leez Priory Wedding Video. Pulling out all the stops to make this wedding special with great details.
Celebrating the wedding of Rachael and Ryan in true cinematic style with this wedding trailer. Filmed at the beautiful Essex wedding venue, Orsett Hall on September 18th 2017. Arriving early to film the stunning grounds and to capture Rachael during bridal preparations. All the finishing touches were put into place as Ryan arrived with his groomsmen to walk the ground before meeting guests and heading into that all important ceremony chapel. A little rain didn’t stop the fun as the sun soon came back out for photos and a romantic walk through the lush green Orsett Hall grounds. Topping off the day was a beautiful wedding breakfast followed by laughter and tears during three great speeches. Then a wedding dance to top all first dances. Many congratulations Rachael and Ryan and a huge thank you for choosing 3 Cheers Media to film your wedding day. It was amazing to be a part of your special day. We hope you enjoy our Orsett Hall Wedding Videography highlights film;
A Wedding with Music from the Movies
What a treat this wedding was for an editor. Rachael our bride for the day works in the TV and film industry so had some great ideas on the editing style, like the use of montage. The main thing that sets this wedding video apart from others was the music. Rachael and Ryan chose a cinematic soundtrack from some of the great movies of the day which gave this trailer and the feature length video a truly unique feel. Tracks include songs from Up, The Hobbit and Jurassic Park making the feature length video feel like a movie. A huge thank you goes to the staff working on the day to make everything go so smoothly. The Orsett Hall staff kept the day running on time and Gary Derbridge the photographer kept everyone smiling through rain and shine.
Super slow motion capturing every bit of Confetti
The Beautiful Bride Rachael, Preparing for the Day
Our latest Essex wedding trailer celebrates the wedding of Claire and Dean. Filmed on the 9th of September at the beautiful venue Cromwell Manor, Pitsea. The light was perfect on the day, once the sun started to go down the photographer (Gary Derbridge) and I took Claire and Dean for a walk around the grounds. We weren’t disappointed as the light shone with a warm glow for some awesome slow motion shots. If you’re ready it’s time to take a look at this Cromwell Manor Wedding Video;
Claire & Dean and a The Wedding Singer!
What a perfect September day Claire and Dean had. Cromwell Manor looked stunning with all the special touches created for the big day. As Claire arrived in a Rolls Royce with her Dad all the bridesmaids were ready and waiting to make their grand entrance. Dean’s face lit up as his bride came down the isle. From that moment on the day was filled with smiling happy faces as family and friends celebrated in style. The first dance was pretty special too as Claire’s brother David sung the first dance song to kick off the evening celebrations.
Our first wedding at the stunning Essex wedding venue, Creeksea Place in Burnham-on-Crouch and what a wedding! This cinematic wedding trailer celebrates Emily and Danute marrying on this Summers day in August 2017. With drone arial footage over the lakes, woodlands and listed Creeksea building, along with poignant words from Emily’s Father and shots of Emily, Danute, family and friends enjoying the day, this makes for a memory of a lifetime. This is our second wedding production for the family with another possible booking for the brother in 2018. I want to say a huge thank you to all the family who made me feel like a guest on the day. So it’s time to watch our first Creeksea Place Wedding Video!
Emily, Danute, Family & Friends
At every wedding I always try my very best to blend in with the crowed, never to be a big voice calling the shots. But to be a fly on the wall, talking with guests and enjoying the day whilst capturing the moments. At this wedding being familiar with the family made it an even more special event as I got to sit with the guests during dinner, laughing at the jokes on the table and raising a glass to the Bride and Bride. We are fortunate to have been chosen on four occasions for same sex wedding videography and are proud to be part of this open minded world we live in as Emily’s father spoke about during his speech. Capturing the speech that makes the first part of the video can make the wedding trailer feel that bit more special and it’s something that can be a part of all our trailers if requested.
Essex Drone Wedding Videography
Using the DJI Mavic Pro and getting to Creeksea Place nice and early it was possible to get the drone in the air for some stunning video of the grounds. Wedding videography is literally moving to the next level, these compact drones take seconds to put into the air and are easy to operate. Putting the arial shots amongst the ground video makes for something truly special on this Creeksea Place wedding video.

Stephanie & Ben – An Essex Wedding Video
In the beginning all we have is a location and a wonderful couple that have chosen to spend the rest of their lives together. What we aim to create is a memory that will be with them forever, to treasure and to relive the day when the mood strikes. This is more than a photo, it’s the movement of the dress, it’s the tears and it’s the laughter. With this High House Wedding Video Stephanie and Ben requested a custom made package. They wanted pre wedding interviews before the day got going. This was made part of the High House wedding trailer and added in full to the feature length video. I think this made for a pretty cool video, adding some emotion to the day before it even started. Well it’s about time we stepped into the future and realise that wedding DVD’s are no longer the best option for our clients. In recent months a few clients have asked for their final wedding video to be on a USB memory stick rather than a traditional wedding DVD. Hooray, we now offer that as a part of our standard wedding package. This also meant we had to look into making our USB wedding presentation unique to our style. For hours we searched the internet to find a complete solution to have a company design and make our USB wedding video packaging. We found some great companies too, but felt non of them offered something that truly represented our style. In the end we made something ourselves and hope our future clients love it;
The USB Wedding Presentation
We are so pleased with how our packaging has turned out and would like to tell you how we went about it. My partner came up with the idea of using a custom made fob, I turned to Etsy to find a local UK supplier for the wedding USB label. We found a lady called Nora Klotz who works with leather. She made us these beautiful custom leather USB labels that have our company name, 3 Cheers or Wedding written on them.
Next up we decided to use recycled eco card boxes, with wood wall as a cushion. These are normally used as jewellery boxes due to the size but thought they would be perfect for the USB wedding presentation and packaging. These can be found on Amazon and local suppliers.
Now for the branding, due to our wedding DVD packaging we already had custom stamps made by a USA Etsy company. These are used on the front of the USB wedding presentation box for the 3 Cheers Media company logo. Then on the inside we use a stamp that says; ‘Thanks for sharing your story with me’
The USB Presentation Poem;
Lastly we thought we would top it off with a little ditty to put in the presentation box for the USB care instruments. After all it’s important to know a few things about what this USB can do and to make sure clients remember to BACK UP!!! For those who want to read my poetic skills; Inside this box is your special memory, contained within a 3 Cheers Media USB. It will play on whichever is your favourite device, but first it will need opening with your computer-side mice. From iPads, iPhones, laptops and TV, once you copy the file it’s just plain ease. But don’t forget, not all’s built to last, back up, back up, so it’s not lost to the past. We hope you enjoy your unique custom movie, a review of the work will help business run smoothly!
On a misty morning in late December something special was happening in the heart of the Essex countryside. A wedding was getting underway and guests were traveling from far and wide to attend. The atmosphere around the grounds was calm and tranquil as the fog rolled over the moors sweeping through the trees. This was a truly unique wedding as Parklands, Quendon Hall looked beautifully cinematic. Erica and Anthony had the most wonderful weddings celebrating with friends, family and their two daughters. We hope they love their wedding video trailer as much as we loved making it. A massive thanks to my second videographer JR for making the day go smoothly.
