A Summer Wedding at The Fennes - Gemma & Billy

In late July 2018, on another beautiful English summers day, I set out to capture another stunning Essex wedding. The venue for the day was The Fennes – a gem in the heart of acres of rural North Essex countryside – the perfect setting for this white wedding. The couple; Gemma and Billy, hired me to start with groom and guest arrival up until the first dance. But I got there early enough to capture all the stunning grounds at The Fennes and all the magical details thought out by our wedding couple. With the sunshine and a lovely cool breeze the guys arrived looking dapper from head to toe. Family and friends took their seats for a beautiful outside ceremony by The Fennes pond and fountain. Drinks, celebrations, laughter and photos followed the touching vowels as spirits were high! Onto the wedding breakfast with speeches that touched hearts and had guests in stitches. It's always a highlight as a videographer listening to stories from the past that give you a real insight to the bride and groom. As evening guests arrive, the cake is cut and the dance floor opens. Gemma and Billy kick of the celebrations with a first dance before the party really gets going. This was a truly magical wedding day that I thoroughly enjoyed being part of.
