ELLIE & JORDAN - A Summer wedding at Apton Hall

After years of waiting due to COVID-19 Ellie and Jordan finally tie the knot at 3 Cheers Media's favourite Essex wedding venue, Apton Hall.

What a stunning day this was, filmed back in late June of 2022. As usual I arrive early to the venue to capture the gorgeous grounds and special details the couple have created for the day. Apton Hall is such a lovely place to get married for so many reasons; Firstly Apton Hall is set in the idyllic Essex countryside. It has all the rustic charm a wedding needs with maintained gardens surrounding its courtyard buildings. Secondly the staff are always so friendly and accommodating, on hot days they keep us suppliers fed and watered so can keep working hard. Thirdly the way the venue is laid out really allows for a smooth wedding. No moving chairs or walking big distances from one part of the venue to the other, it's all very self contained which I love.

The wedding itself had a bit of a slow start as our bride for the day Ellie was running a bit late getting to Apton Hall. But when she arrived it was go, go, go! The bridal party had lots of fun getting ready in the bridal suit, whilst looking after Ellie's beautiful little baby girl.

The boys had plenty of time to get ready and have a little photo shoot before the day really kicked off and Ellie and Jordans son certainly looked dapper in his page-boy suit.

The wedding itself was full of laughter and happiness from all around. This made it easy for me to capture guests enjoying the day as you can see by the wedding trailer. My favourite part of the day was spending some time alone with Ellie and Jordan as myself and the photographer took them on a private shoot. The couple posed naturally for the camera and seemed to really enjoy the alone time. On this wedding daytime couple booed a few extras that really made for some special moments. The kids had a craft and arts table that they loved too use. Then a white wedding bouncy castle sprung to life for even some adults to have a bounce. Finally in the evening a Crepe horse cart arrived for some sweet treats for the guests.

I absolutely loved being a part of this day as the sun shone and the wedding party was such fun to be around. I wish both Ellie & Jordan and their little family all the very best for the future.
