Lucy & Lee - Leez Priory Wedding Video

It's great to be back at one of our favourite Essex wedding venues, The Leez Priory. Set in 40 acres of parkland, with lakes, lawns and a sweeping driveway, filming at Leez Priory is always a treat and the view looking down the pathway is among the best you’ll ever see. There are so many different locations that you can choose from to get some incredible cinematic shots as we did here for Lucy and Lee.

What a wonderful wedding this was, a warm sunny day in May, stunning backdrop and a very happy couple tying the knot.

Getting to the venue early always allows me to get some shots of the venue and any details being set up. It had been sometime since I had been at Leez Priory so it was great to see the venue was looking better than ever. After the venue shots I spent a good deal of the morning with Lucy and her many bridesmaids as they got ready. The girls were all fun and laughter during the preparations, decorating crutches, passing little Ivey from one bridesmaid to another, bubbles being sipped all whilst Lucy got ready. The father reveal was also another magic moment as his face simply lit up when he saw his daughter.

After this it was time to see Lee and his groomsmen who seemed a little bit nervous but took well to a nice walk around the grounds before meeting the guests. Then a beautiful outdoor ceremony by the Leez Priory Tower took us all into celebrations with family and friends on the lawn.

My favourite part of the day was taking Lucy and Lee for a walk to take video and photos with my colleague and friend Gary Derbridge (wedding photographer). The light was just right and we got some stunning shots of the couple holing their baby girl Ivey, who just looked adorable.

Onto the wedding breakfast, speeches and incredible evening entertainment with some great singers who kicked off the first dance. All in all this was one cracking wedding and I thoroughly enjoyed my day.
