A winter wedding is certainly romantic. Starting the day with bright and fresh day with a crisp breeze. The emerald grass on the Quendon Hall lawns has a slight crunch underfoot as you wander the gardens. Guests keeping cozy inside especially with the supply of fine whisky's Samantha and Shamil had awaiting.

This day had it all, a wedding with one of the biggest guest lists I have ever seen and so many special touches. I am a regular at Parklands which is a large Essex wedding venue with plenty of space inside. On this day every space was used to accommodate the guests, with drinks and food being served after the ceremony in the banqueting hall and the whisky bar in the drawing room. Later that day the reception was held in the large but grand marquee which was filled with tables and decorations.

Samantha and Shamil were very relaxed on the day, letting the day just unfold and allowing myself and the photographer to just capture events as they happened with virtually no requests for set shots. This was a really refreshing approach which fitted in well to my fly on the wall wedding videography style.

My highlights of the day were bridal preparations which just set the mood for the Essex wedding, relaxed and big smiles all around. Then the wedding food, wow the cuisine was incredible. Next up the evening entertainment, the DJ's certainly got the crowed jumping and more importantly, staying put on the dance floor. But most of all Samantha and Shamil for such a unique approach to a wedding day and not asking for anything special apart from to be left to enjoy the day and soak it all up.
