Cooling Castle Winter Wedding Video

It's been a good few years since I have filmed at Cooling Castle in Kent and what a treat it was to be back. This winter wedding video filmed in late November of 2021 had all the elements of a beautiful wedding.

Arriving on a cold, crips morning to be reminded of the wonderful grounds and castle turrets that make this venue so unique. I started with my usual which was filming the grounds, buildings and details to bring all the elements of the couples day into their wedding video. As we were approaching the Christmas season, the venue had all the decorations up to make the day feel festive. I tried to pick out trees and plants that added autumn colours to the trailer, this along with the stunning details for the wedding really made the backdrop for the trailer cinematic. On to bridal preparations and meeting with Danielle, her bridesmaids and the wedding 'mums' of the day. All were in great spirits having fun getting ready and helping one another out to get set for the day.

Alongside me for the day was my friend and co-wedding worker; Gary Derbridge. Gary is so good with people and has years of wedding photography experience, we both love to making the coupe feel at ease on the day and enjoy every moment.

Later we met with the guys as they got suited up 'James Bond' style in black tuxedos. This made for an epic slow motion reservoir dogs style walk.

The rest of the day flowed from one part to the next, each with special moments that put smiles on so many faces.

My favourite part of the day was taking Daniel and Danielle out for their bride and groom shoot. With the Castle as our back drop and both of them so happy to spend time taking pictures and video. A really fun part of the evening was when the band played, everyone seemed to get on the dance floor and party the night away. It was lovely to see so many people enjoying themselves. I wish Daniel and Danielle all the very best for a happy future together and thank them both for choosing 3 Cheers Media to film their winter wedding at Cooling Castle.
