A Cinematic Wedding Trailer of Autumn Colours
This truly is a spectacle of a wedding day, celebrating the love between Claudia and Adam. It was the first time 3 Cheers Media had filmed at the stunning Houchins wedding venue and I was certainly not disappointed; Houchins is an elegant wedding venue with a stylish grade 2 listed farmhouse and lush grounds. Located in north Essex it has a rich history dating back to the 17th century.

ESSEX WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHY
Turning up for an October wedding in the UK can often mean, rain, wind, dark clouds and wet grounds, but not today. This day was rich in autumn colours from the golden trees, the red berries hanging and the glowing orange warmth of the sun making everything shine! For me it was a perfect day to capture some magical shots of the couple as the tied the knot in style.
I started my day like a kid in a candy shop. Any new venue for me inspires my creativity and as I wonder the grounds, I look for shots that will really show off the features of the venue, the time of year and the details created for the wedding day. What I found about Houchins was the abundance of colour in the foliage that really made a superb backdrop for my cinematic wedding video style.
After capturing the grounds it was time to meet up with Claudia and her bridesmaids as they happily got ready in the grade 2 listed farmhouse. It was a stress free morning for the girls as they sipped on bubbles, laughed lots and chatted about the days of old and the exciting day ahead. The light coming in from the window really made for some beautiful shots of Claudia as she had her hair and make up done.
Then it was the guys turn, with Adam grinning from ear to ear as he handed out pocket watches for his groomsmen, they all seemed well chuffed with the gifts. After a short walk around the grounds the time was upon us for the ceremony.
At Houchins they have a lovely outdoor ceremony area that's covered just incase of a sprinkle, but not on this day, today it was wall to wall blue skies. So the moment Claudia walked down the aisle with her dad she really shone in her white dress.
The rest of the afternoon was filled with events, from confetti line ups, doggy cuddles, family photos, drinks and canapés. This lead us to my favourite part of the day, the couples shoot. This is where myself and the photographer take the bride and groom for a walk around the grounds to capture them and let them have some calm time away from the activities. I have to say that this was possible the best couples shoot I have had the pleasure to film. Every setting was filled with autumnal colour, the light to film with was glorious, Claudia and Adam were so easy to work with and loved having some time together.
At times I must have got a bit carried away with my excitement as when we ventured out for the sunset shots I made a couple of noises that indicated a bit too much pleasure was being had filming the stunning couple ;-)
Into the evening for the first dance and lots more wedding celebrations. So much more to be viewed on the full length video that comes with every package offered by 3 Cheers Media!
A huge thank you to Houchins wedding venue for taking such good care of me on the day, I hope to be back soon. Also a shout out to Peter Hugo the photographer who came down all the way from up North and was a fantastic companion for the day. We seemed to gel really well which made for some amazing work for both of us. Lastly I would like to wish Claudia and Adam the very best for the future and thank them both for choosing 3 Cheers Media to film their Houchins wedding day.
