Presenting a Newland Hall wedding highlights video for Emily and Gary. This Essex wedding was filmed in the hight of the summer season on a scorching day in August. It had been a while since I had filmed at Newland Hall but the grounds and buildings were as beautiful as I remembered. Newland Hall has a main building used in the morning for bridal preparations and a marquee for the wedding breakfast. On such a warm day as this the wedding ceremony can be held outside. The grounds of Newland Hall are stunning, beautiful flowers in the borders, an old barn for a cinematic backdrop and plenty of natural areas to walk around and explore.
On this Essex wedding video we started the day by filming Newland Hall by drone videography. Capturing the wedding venue snuggled in amongst the fields and farms of the Essex countryside. Filming all the grounds and details was my next step, always trying to film those special touches that take time to create but are often forgotten about. This led me on to meeting Emily and the girls during bridal preparations in the main house of Newland Hall. Spirits were high and bubbles were flowing while the girls had hair and makeup done. I could tell straight away this was going to be a fun day as Emily was so chilled and happy. Later that morning the guys arrived in style as they pulled up to Newland Hall to meet with guests in a stretch Hummer. Gary stepped out of the car with the biggest smile on his face as his groomsmen were cracking jokes one after the other. The day from that point just flowed, starting with a beautiful ceremony in the gardens behind the marquee, to confetti and celebrations. A special touch that Emily and Gary added was to release two white doves in front of all the guests. Photos, drinks and canapés for everyone took us into the wedding breakfast were speeches started before the dinner. On this wedding highlights video we included some highlights from Gary's speech to bring the wedding trailer to life. My favourite part of the day was taking Emily and Gary out for their bride and groom shoot. Working with the brilliant photographer Gary Derbridge we found the perfect time of day to get some awesome golden hour lighting. It was easy to find stunning backdrops for the couple which made for some truly cinematic wedding footage. This day truly had it all to help make a very special wedding video for the couple. This Essex wedding trailer is just a snippet of the full day edit the couple get to keep forever. We hope they love and treasure the wedding video as a memory of the day and wish Emily and Gary the very best for the future.
